Most of my students have a behavior plan. I realized my kids are more engaged when they are moving. A lot of the items I requested are in order for my students to stay focus while still having the opportunity to move. Although I have implemented brain breaks and ball-a-vis-x, kids need to continuously move in order to not lose concentration. I have seen some changes in academics thanks to a stability ball that I purchased in the past. Sadly, because of budget cuts, that single stability ball is used for a single student. Where I see flexible seating working the most is with my special needs students. I have many students that are autistic, and some of the materials that are chosen are specifically for them.
