My goal for my students in using these iPads is having a more engaging learning experience. iPads will allow our students to learn responsibility, collaborate, receive instant feedback, make connections, and allow for differentiation. I plan to teach them what it means to be a digital citizen and the responsibility that goes along with your digital footprint. Students will be able to collaborate with each other, and with other students across the district using different resources on the iPads. iPads will enable them to receive instant feedback on class activities and assessments. This will also allow students to pursue their own interest using research. Our iPads will allow us to Skype or FaceTime others so that we're able to go on "digital field trips". iPads come with the ability to dictate using the talk-to-text feature which is very helpful for students who experience difficulties in written communication.
