Along with our traditional whole group lessons we have been using computer programs to learn in many enriching ways. Some of our projects are limited as we have only a couple of headphones with microphones. It makes a big difference when we are able to record our reading, explain our visualizations, share our wonderings and explain our learnings without sounding like were underwater at Seaworld. In math we are able to complete a game, and show our work to the teacher with a photo, with these headphones we'd be able to add a voice track to explain how we did the work and helped each other learn as partners. As we begin to develop our reading skills we have learned to read with more emotions. Authors make choices in their writing to show that emotion. With headsets like this we'd be able to record ourselves and show our teachers that we have become master readers. This type of learning allows us to work in pairs and have our teacher see the work we've done. It's like we are in small groups with the teacher being in all the groups to know what we've learned that day.
