My students are early college students from different communities in Clint, TX and Horizon, TX areas. In my classroom, they learn about Digital & Interactive Media. My class is the only technology class they are required to take in their programs of study. It is a big responsibility for me as a teacher so, I strive to make every lesson relevant and to provide the best resources available for their learning. In my first year, I received 2 google grants for robotics materials and was able to obtain vr glasses and 2 go pro cameras. This summer I will be receiving new recording studio equipment. For my second year, I have planned to get rid of desktop computers and stations. Instead, I plan to arrange tables and seating in a more open learning environment with drop downs to charge and use their chromebooks, as well as complete our macbook air classroom set to have them learn about apple available technology.
