My students spend time daily learning in small groups with me. Currently, we only have four chairs that are too short for our table. During small group learning, students are either having to stand or sit on their knees in the chairs in order to see the table. My students need stools that are the appropriate size so that they can focus on learning instead of how uncomfortable they are. Research has shown that blood flow can improve brain function; by donating, you are not only giving students a better opportunity to learn, but you are also allowing them to move while they learn. Students love to move and these stools will allow them to get the wiggles out and learn at the same time.
