I teach Computer Skills & Applications to almost all of the 7th Graders in the school each year. This course incorporates the best practices of Internet Safety & Security, Coding, Google Apps., and introduces students to a number of digital tools that they will hopefully use for a lifetime of learning. I also teach an Engineering & Architectural Enrichment course for 7th/8th graders. This is an introduction to many of the skills they may use in future careers. I incorporate PA Career Education & Work standards into both courses as well. We emphasize academics, athletics, arts, music, and many other facets of education outside the basic learning that is required by most schools. We intentionally emphasize longer school years, more inclusive environments, and a model program for raising better citizens with our programs throughout the school!
