My students are all aspiring writers that love to share and show off their work to their classmates. With a document camera they would able to put their notebooks and published work right under the camera and show off their successes. They live in an area going through a lot of turmoil due to gang activity. The school is a Title I school, 80% of the students are English Language Learners. I teach 31, hard working 4th graders, 26 are English Language Learners. They are very visual learners and seeing their own writing projected will make each of them feel absolutely brilliant! Writing is their favorite time of day where they can express themselves in words and drawings! Having a document camera will make them soar and feel like the scholars they are!
