In the community that I work, resources are limited. Students are hungry for knowledge but finding adequate resources to help them reach their learning potential are scarce. More specifically in the area of technology. In the world that we live in today, everything is computer based. In the classroom we are moving everything to be based on the computer. Some students come into the classroom not knowing how to use a computer or an iPad when they are expected to take a test and complete all assignments/activities on the computer and it can be challenging for those who are unfamiliar with the technology. Having and iPad with a protective case in the classroom will support these new learning styles and approaches. A protective case will ensure that not only my current class will benefit from this, but many more in the future.
