These materials will make a difference in the classroom because the children are on many different levels for guided reading lessons. These materials will add meaning to activities and will guide the students to become better readers and writers. My students will learn to use the leveled materials to further their literacy and language skills. My students will use the journals to help them learn more sight words. The journals will help them to become better writers. A goal for my students is that they become proficient readers and writers. My students enjoy drawing and sounding out words to go with their drawings. The journals and leveled readers will impact both reading and writing within the classroom.
