In 2018 I wrote a grant to purchase STEM related items in our classroom. We now have DASH and DOT robots, Sphero SPRK+ robots, and Bloxel kits. Soon we will have OSMO Genius Kits. However, we only have 5 iPads in our classroom to use with all our new technology. Our class is seeking donors who are willing to help us fund more iPads to use with these great STEM educational tools. Part of using STEM and Project Based Learning is to help students learn to think critically, problem-solve, get creative, collaborate, and communicate with one another. Our class has worked hard the first part of the year learning to have a growth mindset and work through our frustrations. We have two teams of students who will also be competing in a robotics competition through Wonder Workshop from January thru April. They will be competing against students from around the world to solve problems with our DASH bots. We would love for any help donors are willing to give towards are STEM classroom.
