My students take pride in their work and are very eager to learn. They come from a poverty area in Los Angeles into my classroom ready to learn and explore. A typical day in my classroom is fun. I motivate and praise my students to do their best and not give up. My students love to learn, and they are active and energetic. They are in Kindergarten and have autism. My students learn best with hands-on interactive materials. They are more engaged and eager to learn when learning can be turned into a fun active moment, through colorful and interactive activities.
