Help my special needs students learn to communicate. Most of these children are non-verbal. I have selected items that help them share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through play and sensory tools. Children with Autism use their senses to calm themselves - if I can teach them with sensory toys and supplies everyone wins! They love to explore with tactile items. Non-verbal students are encouraged to talk when exploring with art and pretend play. The toys and supplies chosen will become permanent tools in the preschool special needs classroom. The children will benefit daily.
