Providing students with a quality, diverse classroom library provides students with endless opportunities to learn more about topics of interest, engage in social conversation about learning with other students, and inspires students to read not only for necessity, but for pleasure. Literacy allows students to engage more with the world around them, explore new topics, and creates a love of learning and a desire to reach goals. Fifth grade students, like any other students, have wide variety of interests and needs as readers. My goal in creating this classroom library is to reach every student and provide them with all of the materials they need to be successful.

About my class
