My Seniors are taking a Dark Romantics class and the novels I have added will motivate them to truly understand the concepts of gothic American and British literature. It will connect with their interest in the mysterious and connect with relevant recreation of the classic horror stories from the past. My Juniors are taking a Literature in the Fine Arts class and the stories I have added will allow them to open up their minds and analyze different interpretations of the same fairy tales we grew up hearing. Adding these young adult novels will allow them to be comfortable in their analysis of familiar stories while giving them the opportunity to connect with the world around them. Walden Grove is an innovative campus that works with both student and teacher to create an open and creative atmosphere where students can self teach and learn in fun unique ways. Allowing teachers to create different kinds of courses and giving students the option to choose makes for a very trusting campus.
