Hello from Allen Nebraska. My name is Cathy Schroeder, and I am a speech language pathologist with Educational Service Unit #1 in Wakefield Nebraska. This year the Allen Elementary School has implemented an inclusionary speech therapy model in Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. As the speech pathologist, I provide instruction for the weekly vocabulary and language skills for each reading unit for all students. In addition, I co teach writing in the 4th grade. I do provide some pull out sessions, particularly in the areas of articulation and grammar.
