I work with two second grade classrooms (29 students in each class ... so far) in an urban, public school district. 90% of our students live in households in which English is not their first language. Our students are vibrant, eager, motivated readers who love things like Legoes, tag, princesses, and music. They are very invested in our big goal of growing five reading levels this year to help them be successful in third grade, college, and beyond!

About my class
