Our students in this urban, high poverty district have a multitude of needs, within our school in the largest city in Michigan, well-publicized for being economically distraught. The students, with an 80% Hispanic and 95% economically disadvantaged population, work hard and want to learn, but struggle with a multitude of economic related issues. I appreciate your interest in helping me inspire my students to discover how great learning can be.
