If my project is fully funded, my students will get new books to explore in our classroom library and read on a daily basis. The only way to get better at reading is by practice practice practice! They will also be getting some flexible seating options to use while reading their new books. I am hoping these new and fun seats will encourage the students to read more. My students would be able to use their seat sacks to keep all of their materials with them at the tables, keeping them focused and on task by not having to get up to get their materials. I would love to be able to provide all of these wonderful learning opportunities for my new Kindergartners and help them become wonderful readers that will be ready for first grade when they leave me!
