My students need many opportunities to engage in small group instruction, guided reading, and small group strategy lessons. They will benefit greatly from having a great variety of texts to continue to advance in their reading levels. They are mainly English Language Learners and need books that have vibrant colors and patterns to continue to practice the many skills they have already mastered and practice other skills and strategies with which they may struggle. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful reading across many different texts. I can’t wait for them to embark on this reading journey with more appropriate resources!
