Our goal in Kindergarten this year is to incorporate more STEM projects into our day to day routines. I am asking for different hands-on manipulatives to allow my students to have STEM stations each afternoon. Hands-on projects help create more well rounded children. STEM projects help promote higher level thinking, teamwork, and creativity. These skills are all essential in Kindergarten. Seeing students work together for a common goal is one of my favorite parts of my day. The pride they get when showing off their hard work is irreplaceable.
