Medical Occupations is a course offered through the Tri-Valley ROP serving three separate school districts and their students! Med Occs provides an introduction and an exploration into the various medical fields. We focus on career areas, and post secondary education and training. Students will leave with a career and employment portfolio, 180+ hours of experience in a clinical setting, and eligibility to take the California Certified Medical Assistant exam (CCMA) to become a certified medical assistant. Our program is also articulated with our local Junior College to earn 3 semester credits in Health 51 A and B.
