I have 5 classes of 8th grade Pre-Algebra students. Three of those classes are beginning to intermediate English language learners. My students are working very hard this year for understanding as they prepare for high school algebra. They love working in groups and doing activities in class to help them understand math. I try to find ways that give them the opportunity to use all of their senses when learning something new. It's going to be a great year for these wonderful students!
