I am requesting math and literacy center materials to accommodate a small group within my classroom. Many students in our district do not have access to these kinds of activities at home, and, therefore, need the additional support to enhance their learning experience. I intend to use these supplies to supplement our language arts and math curriculums to increase comprehension for my English Learner students. In having this resource, students will get excited about learning; allowing themselves to be fully immersed in the educational process through fun, hands-on activities. Furthermore, I hope to be able to share these across my grade level, which would increase the positive impact of this resource four-fold. Our students have so much to gain in receiving this gift, and we would be incredibly grateful for any and all contributions.
