The use of technology is almost a daily activity in my program, especially in reading and math intervention. Using the Chromebooks helps to model math and reading strategies to students in both guided practice and modeled strategies. What becomes a problem is the lack of technology for the student to access. Even though they are great about working, students struggle when they do not have access to the materials online. These Chromebooks will give them the access they need to focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!

About my class
