I love teaching my first graders from the classroom carpet for whole group lessons. It provides a sense of community among my Happy Campers and helps to engage them in the lesson. I enjoy allowing students to come to the classroom easel to participate in learning in many ways, including finding sight words in our morning message, recording data in a class graph, creating number bonds during a math lesson, etc. This classroom easel would allow my students to be more engaged in the learning process and take an active role in our whole group lessons. I love giving them opportunities to take responsibility for their learning!

About my class
