My students need 12 Digital LCD Scales and 12 thermometers! Why? Because you can't have science without math, and you can't have math without science! We will use these tools to enhance math skills during science experiments and activities. Measuring is an important part of both math and science. These tools will make a difference in my students' success because they will have thermometers and scales to use during classroom instruction. These materials will give students the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with measuring, enhancing their experience with a STEM-centered classroom approach to education. It is extremely important for students to have the opportunity to do as many experiments and hands-on activities as possible. By learning through experience, lessons become tactile and engaging. These materials will expand the amount of experiences my students will have the opportunity to participate in. These scales and thermometers will help students prepare for real-world experiences with measurement through applied science in our science classrooms at our school.
