Our students come from a variety of home-situations that force them to handle major responsibilities early on in life. They grow up fast, which means they have experienced many stressful/painful experiences, but it also means they come with many skills and talents. Our students have a lot of passion and desire to be productive citizens, which they express through their academics and community activism. Most of our students are Puerto Rican, however we have students from different Latino ethnic backgrounds as well as African American students.

About my class
