I am a Special Education Teacher. What does that mean to you? To me, it means that each of my students has the potential for greatness -- like Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Mozart AND Beethoven, John F. Kennedy, Dwight Eisenhower, and Hans Christian Anderson, all of whom achieved greatness despite their learning disabilities. Every day the students teach me more about the way they learn! Instead of worksheets and pencils, we use sight, sound, touch, and movement in our learning activities. In this way, letters, numbers, science, geography, and history, all come alive -- and learning happens. When through opportunity, we happen upon a student's learning style, the magic never grows old for me!
