All my students are at different reading levels, so we can really use the I Can Read! Readers set. I want to be able to build my students' reading comprehension, vocabulary, and also their writing skills. In order to do so, I need to start at the basic. My ultimate goal is to develop them into strong readers and writers. Reading and writing goes hand in hand! I do a lot of small group teaching and I like to build fun and engaging activities. The phonic and sight word journals would be a great addition to our independent groups. Also, the different reading and writing activities would be a great addition to our small groups during teacher time.
