These 13 books will improve my students' reading and vocabulary. This is also a book that they have recommended and voted on as a class, and they are very interested and excited to read it. It would make my class feel so special to receive the gift of literature. My students chose this resource because it touches on challenges they all face in today's society, and it is highly relateable for them. This book explores two different races, yet brings them together. Many of my students are also interested in basketball, which this book mentions. Many of my students have recommended this book to me and are ready to read it. If I could have a complete class set of 30 of my own, that would be a dream come true.
