Almost 20 years ago in 2000 I purchased my classroom rug for my class meeting area. I have taken very good care of our rug and it has been used by hundreds of students during my 20 year career. While this rug is rather sentimental to my heart, my current preschool students could definitely benefit from this beautiful, clean, and new pinwheel and alphabet rug. We meet together on it several times throughout the day and students even use this same rug when they select to go to the library / literacy center. Students lay on the rug and read with cozy pillows and stuffed animal reading buddies. Currently our rug is not as clean as I would like so I allow the students to lay in a pop up princess castle I bought them in the meanwhile. I would love for my students to be able to meet on a nice new rug and serve hundreds of students for 20 more years! The donor(s) for this project really will be giving students an item that will be cherished, cared for, and most importantly used all through our days. Thank you for considering our wish!
