Right now, my classroom art supplies consist of a few worn-down crayons, a sad box of 10 colored pencils and some dry erase markers I no longer use on the board. I work in a low-income area and not all of my students can afford to buy their own art supplies. I want my students to be able to create projects and decorate writing assignments with quality art supplies. They only way to help a student succeed is to keep them engaged in their learning, and that is exactly what I intend to do! I have classes filled with creative and artistic kiddos and I believe they deserve high quality supplies.
