My goal, as an educator, is to get my bright-eyed, curious students prepared for the world they are going to be living in. One of the biggest ways to prepare them is through collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. The quote by Dr. Kagen says it best, "In today's world teamwork skills are employability skills." By starting in elementary school, students will have ample time to develop and foster the skills. The four leaf tables will allow for students to practice teamwork skills by placing students in groups of four. Dynamic groups will have students easily able to work together throughout the day. Daily practice will lay the foundation of the four C's for students to build on.
