I am a 6th grade math teacher, teaching in the Savannah-Chatham County School District in Georgia. The students in this school come from low income families. My students are hands-on, visual learners. Students are taught to relate what they learn in the classroom to real world experiences. In order to provide my students with engaging and creative learning experiences, I utilize flexible learning stations in my classroom. By having laptops in the classroom, the students will be able to access to a technology station. The technology station will give them access to different math programs that will improve their learning and understanding.
