Our school struggles with low test scores and students that come from difficult homes. For some of our students the smiling faces of teachers and administrators are the only smiling faces they see. Low education levels at home and poverty severely affect our children and I am trying to change that. Our students deserve a great education and the ability to do enrichment activities to further the learning. Without help from others, it's very difficult to provide school supplies, enrichment activities, as well as fun ways to learn. In my classroom I try to keep my students engaged and wanting to learn more about World Civilizations. Fun trading games involving countries and the items they produce to export around the world make learning and connecting the information more fun for my students. Please consider helping our students out
