I currently have nineteen ukuleles to share among 40 students in the ukulele club and music classroom with more students wanting to join. With the addition of these new ukuleles, our students will be able to experience hands-on applications to the skills they are learning in class. Our school is 88% free and reduced. Finding ways to include all students is imperative! With the addition of the ukulele tuners and bags, it is our hope that this musical experience will become a student-led activity that will allow our students to tune their own instruments and share their love of music with their peers that transcends language barriers! It is a place for students to feel like a family and develop relationships through music.

About my class
