We are Learning About Our Universe!
Funded May 12, 2023Thank you so much for your donation. I can't thank you enough how important it is for us have a color printer in order to learn about the planets. My students were able to explore and print out the different planets, learning about each planet in detail. They explored and compared the planets and learned so much about all the planets. In the past, students were only able to print out the planets in black and white, but with this color printer, my students were able to print out the planets in color which made a huge difference in the visualization of each of the planet. This made a huge impact on learning about the characteristics of each of the planet. Thank you so much for making student's learning of exciting and memorable!”

Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you for your kind donation! With your donation, my students are spending less time editing and rewriting their final paper. As many of the class writing assignments are done on Google Doc, it was difficult to display my students' work since they had to handwrite everything. Not only that, but it also limited our time to start on new writing assignments because everything had to be hand written. But now, we spend less time writing and spend more time on different writing assignments.
Thanks to your donation, students' final work can be easily printed and my students are so proud to see their work being displayed in the classroom. You made such a great impact on my students. Thank you!”

Funded Jan 1, 2021I want to start by thanking you for your kind donation. Even during school closure, my students were fortunate enough to have the needed papers in order to learn how to print letters and write numbers.
With sudden school closure and for a lengthy period of time, my students received minimal papers which dissipated quickly with daily usage. However, I was able to make arrangements for my student's parents to pick up the papers (which you have kindly donated) and they have been using them limitlessly since then. Though I will be sharing a snapshot of my students written work, the impact you had on my students is huge; my students are able print numbers and letters beautifully. Thank you again!”

The Possibilities Are Endless!
Funded Dec 9, 2020I want to start by expressing my sincere gratitude for your kind donation. My students were fortunate to engage in many hands on activities and I am so excited to share some of the work with you.
Since we received the donation in December, my students have made so many things as they would in a classroom. And even during remote learning, my students have made so many things raging from Santa Clause, Snowman, Valentine's Day Card, and many more.
My students will continue to learn about different holidays and continue to participate in hands on activities, as there are many more holidays to come, such as St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day. Not only would these activities help them to learn about different holidays but they'll also develop their motor skills while having fun. Students will also be assigned to a project where they'll create a timeline; hence give them opportunity to with their parents. And even though my students are having to work from home, it has not limited their learning. Thank you so much!”

Love of Reading
Funded May 21, 2020Thank you for your kind donation. Throughout the school year, my students had the opportunity to read chapter books. We started with easy chapter books and progressively increased their reading level. But with immediate school closure, I was not able to provide my students with any books as I only had time to take necessary items to teach from home. However, with your kind donation, I was able to arrange a day for each of my parents to come to school to pick up the book. And during distance learning, we took turns reading and engaged in deep discussions about the pages we read. And luckily, we were able to finish the book right before the last day of school.
Thank you again for your donation. You made this time of uncertainty most memorable for my students and for me!”

Funded May 12, 2020I want to thank you so much for your kind donation during our school closure. With your donation, I was able to arrange a date for my parents to come to my school to pick up the school supplies. I sorted the supplies and individually bagged them so that all my students would have the supplies needed to complete their project on One and Only Ivan. They had so much fun! They had the opportunity to research sample posters online, work with their parents to utilize the supplies in order to depict the characteristic of their favorite character, and optimize their creativity by demonstrating their understanding of the story that was read.
During this time of uncertainty, my students were lucky to have donors like you to make this current situation most memorable. Without your kind donation, the success I had with this project would not have been possible. So thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!”

Funded Mar 5, 2020Thank you for your donation! We really appreciate it!
My students will benefit so much from your donation. My students are always engaged in hands on activities. They are always having to cut and paste, learning about the phases of the moon, learning about different communities, and doing all sorts of hands on activities for various subjects. And with your donation, we are not limited in our learnings as we have enough supplies to last us for a very long time.
As many of my lessons involve hands on activities, I am able to differentiate student learning; thus, I am able to meet the needs of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. And because these activities involve students working together with their peers, it also helps to build their social skills.
Again, I want to thank you for your kind donation!”
