My students will use these art supplies to extend their learning through creativity. With these supplies, the students will be able to create characters from our literacy stories, such as Pigeon from "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus". We will also make hands-on math games, such as illustrating word problems. The supplies will also help us illustrate our creative writing projects. The art supplies will allow the students to explore their creative side. Many of my students do not have access to art supplies at home. We will also use the supplies to help the children illustrate their emotions when upset or angry. Our school has a huge focus on social-emotional learning.
