My students have dipped their toes into the flexible seating world and now they can’t get enough of it! Currently, we have a few wobble stools, exercise balls, and cushions that they can choose from when working independently. With these options, they are able to sit at their desk or anywhere around the room during work time. With these new flexible seating options, my students will have a larger variety to choose from. My students almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged in learning, and get more work completed than if they were just sitting at their normal desk. My students are more engaged in their work and less distracting to their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools, comfy floor seats, student lap desks, and soft, textured pillows will serve as alternative seating options and allow students to get the wiggles out if needed. Each of these items can be easily used in any area of our classroom. I love that by providing my students with a simple choice it can positively affect their work ethic and behavior. I hope that these additional options will help us grow even more!
