Something that makes our world beautiful is the people. The unique personalities and different ways we all think and learn is amazing. Being a kid and being expected to sit still in a hard chair for several hours to learn is not rational or productive for (most) children today. Some kids need to bounce, some kids need to sway, some kids need to stand and we as educators should be ok with that. We should want to support every child's different learning styles because THAT is when they learn the most; when they're comfortable in their own way. I even find myself in trainings, meetings, etc. having to be doodle, move, fiddle, etc. So this project and your donations would be helping children learn, feel comfortable and simply just be kids. Also, my classroom could use some technological help as well so I added an iPad to my list. Some kids have never used a tablet and will definitely need to learn this skill to move forward in life successfully.
