I hope that this is a novel that students will enjoy and relate to. The novels that we have to choose from are very outdated. I want to focus on novels that students of all reading levels can read and a novel which can be tailored to their learning style. This novel "Schooled" hits those important factors. I also feel very strongly about classroom comfort and alternative seating. I have a special place carved out in my classroom called "The Nook" which is a space students can read in comfort especially with this new comfy couch. I strive to have my entire classroom be transformed into a cozy place to read and learn.
