Helping students with 21st century skills is vital to education in the classroom today. Students, even very young ones, have the ability to use robots in the classroom to learn coding. Using Dash Robots my students work together to develop teamwork, perseverance, and problem solving. The coding assignments can be differentiated to include unlimited combinations of commands beginning with only two or three step commands. One way that I will use Dash Robots during our social studies unit where we will use a large community floor map and students will program the robots to travel to different areas of town.
