The flex seating sofa and chairs will create a cozy nook for our students to relax and enjoy reading. As our library transitions into a learning commons, our students will enjoy a more flexible space to learn and explore. We are in the process of opening up the library floor to incorporate learning areas that will accommodate makerspaces, small and large group learning, and especially welcoming spaces to enjoy reading. All of our diverse population share this space, and I believe that the sofa and chairs will create a comfortable and inviting nook where students can enjoy the library learning commons together.
