Students will engage in hands-on science experiments on a weekly basis. These weekly experiments will be directly linked to the guided reading mentor text in the classroom. Students will get messy! Students will make observations! Students will be exploring kindergarten science standards with unique, focused and targeted learning opportunities where students can really play the part! Students will dress with their own Mad Scientist lab coat weekly. From exploring rocks like scientists would on the moon to creating shadows from familiar children's stories, these experiences in the classroom will be a memorable part of student's kindergarten experience they will cherish for years to come!
