I teach at a school where technology integration is encouraged, but not every student has access to it daily. As individuals in a position to be potential donors, we take for granted our touch-screen phones, eReaders, tablets, and computers. We rely so much on these devices that it's hard to imagine that there are children who have never seen or used some of them. My own son knew how to use most of these devices when he was only 3. I want the same experience and opportunity for the children in my class.
