My students come from a wide variety of households. Some have stable family lives, while others deal with family issues that severely distract them from their studies. A few have all the latest electronic gadgets, including digital SLR cameras, while others rely on pencils, pens and paper to complete their work. The vast majority of my students are interested in learning and love photography, but face personal, home, neighborhood and family challenges that get in their way.
