The end/ beginning of the year transition was a bit of a dramatic yet amazing one to say the least; I concluded my college career in December and immediately began my teaching career as a January hire. With the immense amount of lesson plans to write, I am also attempting to build an engaging classroom environment on a college student's budget!
In my classroom, I need to accommodate the many learning styles of my students by offering choice and variety in anyway that I can. I am requesting a storage cabinet to keep materials accessible to all. I also need beanbag seats, metal stack stools, and a fluffy living room carpet for seating. By having the materials requested in my classroom, I am able to ensure our environment is just as diverse as my students. The ability to provide choice for my students to feel most comfortable while learning in our classroom is vital. Help me build a captivating learning environment that caters to the needs of my new students!
