CLICK ON PROJECT REQUESTS BELOW TO DONATE Most of our school population qualifies for free & reduced lunch. over 80% of students are Hispanic, 25% classified as English language learners. Our school is a title I school. My school has the highest truancy rate of any school in our county. I think students today have a lot of peer pressure to experiment with things that are unhealthy & it is therefore imperative the classrooms are engaging to all students. Unfortunately I encounter a lot of students who come from a single-parent homes. My students have dreams & aspirations about making something good out of their lives. Academically our school has students on both ends of the spectrum. The ones with low grades struggle with motivation and lack support at home. Many of them did not receive the necessary skills at the lower grade levels.
