I teach 120 sixth grade students math daily. We are in a middle school comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I have regular math and advanced math classes. We are an inclusive school where we have special education students in the mainstream classroom. With the support of the special education teacher, we teach eight students who currently have individual education plans with math goals. Many of my students have grown up in a world full of technology and are very knowledgeable in that field. They thrive on discovering mathematical concepts and take pride in sharing their discoveries with their classmates.
