My students are full of energy and keep me on my toes everyday. Many of them come from a working middle class family or lower class family. Our school environment reflects that. Like many other rural schools, we have a limited budget; and unfortunately our music department doesn't have the elementary music resources that it requires. Even with this hardship, we find ways to keep class interesting and engaging. We incorporate math, science, literacy, and physical activity in our music classes. My students are fun, hardworking, and enjoyable. They make teaching a blast and I am lucky to get to teach them the world of music.
